This last weekend was a busy one. We worked on the Jehovah Jireh House Project early Saturday morning tearing down the old house. Then we helped some of our friends move out of the apartment complex where we live. It turned into a beautiful sunny day, so we took the C-182 for a ride over Caddo Lake to see exactly where we canoed (with Josh & Maggie) during the fall. It was obvious form the air why we had such a hard time finding dry land to pitch our tents. It is definitely a Louisiana swamp land. Finally, that night CJ & I dressed up & went to the free Ball Room dancing class where we learned the Cha-Cha. We are no experts, but I must say - we are making progress. Sunday we had a good friend, Jason over for dinner & the boys played frisbee golf. I think there is a disc somewhere in the pond to prove it...

Several of our close friends are having babies this month, which is exciting. No, this is not an intro into saying that I too am pregnant… but none the less, we have been excited to see all the cute baby pictures online & talk to the proud parents.

CJ goes to Park City, UT this weekend for the annual boys snowboarding trip. It looks like I will be holding down the fort in Longview. I have a couple fun dates planned with my girl friends that I’m looking forward to. Plus, I have SCUBA certification at the lake Saturday and Sunday afternoon. I sure hope the weather warms up!
