CJ & Autumn Miller

CJ has accepted a full time position with Dynamic Aviation (www.dynamicaviation.com). He will be an aircraft mechanic & we plan on moving to Bridgewater, VA at the end of May. CJ graduates from LeTourneau this Saturday & my last day of work at Cypress Interactive will be May 15th. We are sad to see the Longview portion of our life coming to a close, but are very excited about the new possibilities & people the Lord has for us in Virginia!
Recently we have been having an excellent time enjoying people's company & celebrating with them. This weekend we had a lingerie shower, a lake party & a going away party. More parties & company to come this week

We were on our back porch tonight sanding down an old garage sale chair when God reminded us of something important through a couple little visitors.

"No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money.
Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes?
Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?
And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin.
Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.
If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?'
For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

    It’s Tuesday night and I am sitting at home while Autumn is out grocery shopping.  She is such a great wife.  I have my Orals and Practicals coming up on Friday, and she knows I am a little stressed out. 
    Orals and Practicals, or O’s and P’s as they are known for short, are 12 to 18 hours of questions and practical assignments given to me from an FAA Examiner who is judging whether or not I know what I am doing as a mechanic.  It is the first step to take in the final process of obtaining my Airframe and Powerplant certificate upon graduation.  After passing these, and my final exams at the end of the semester, I will take ‘the writtens’ which consist of 3 written tests over three different maintenance subjects.  On top of that, Autumn and I are still not sure what we are doing after graduation… so I am a little stressed out.
    The good news is that we have received our application to Africa Inland Mission and once I catch my breath we’ll begin to start that process!  Even better news is that we have been accepted to attend the AIM Candidacy Week in the beginning of June!  God is bringing all that together, and it is fun to watch Him direct our steps!  If everything goes well at Candidacy Week we will be official AIM Missionaries, then we can continue the AIM Air application and training.  Autumn and I are so thankful for all the prayers we have received in this department and we are certain that God is listening! 
    Now… time to get back to the books and relieve some of this stress.
